Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 1970s. Lennox was able to survive on a student's stipend working part-time in order to supplement her earnings. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her abilities compared to the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. She was the main voice of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox started working for Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. It was an enormous achievement with regard to selling and critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The album is a companion to her Now I let the door open... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. Later, Lennox was joined by fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in 1992. This was the source of many hit songs like Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album released in 1995, has versions of some of her best-loved songs, including the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). She has six solo studio albums as well as a compilation album.
